On February 7, 2004, our lives were forever changed after tragically losing our daughter, Aslyn Ryan. Aslyn died from heatstroke after being inadvertently left in a hot car by her sitter while they were running errands.
Many people never recover from the loss of a child, especially when the death is completely avoidable. Our mission was to do everything we could to support other families and to help create change so that no other families had to endure the loss of a child.
In Aslyn’s honor, we continue to work to create educational programs and support legislation to protect children all over the nation. I hope you will consider helping us save children's lives for Kids and Cars, even the smallest donation goes a long way.
