We can prevent injuries and save children's lives

Brooklyn Renee Cline, our little “Brookie Cookie.” Brookie is the beloved Daughter of Justin and Killian Cline, as well as sister to Shiloh and Henry Cline. Brooklyn loved to dance, loved the water, loved animals, and most of all she loved her Big Sister Shiloh. Brookie was the happiest girl, and we have greatly missed the joy that she brought to our home. Brookie lived her 20 short months to the fullest, making an impact on those who had the pleasure of meeting her. On October 2nd, 2021, Brooklyn woke up early and played with toys, and read Goldilocks & The Three Bears with her mom. After breakfast, she went to her very first swimming lesson. She learned so much and she had a huge smile on her face throughout the entire class. After swimming lessons, she was accidentally struck by an SUV in the parking lot. The angels quickly took our little Brookie to heaven that day. Our lives have been completely shattered since we lost our sweet Brookie. Every day without her is another struggle.
As a newly bereaved family, we strive to prevent another child’s death or injury. We don’t ever want another innocent child to suffer, or another family to have to live each day without their precious little one. You never know which day is going to be your worst day. Ours was October 2, 2021. Every donation to Kids and Cars honors Brooklyn’s memory and helps to prevent another tragedy from happening.
